It feels heavier or lighter. It feels quicker or slower. They are the comments that you hear all the time not matter if you are talking about shoes, cricket bats, golf clubs or SUP boards, fins or paddles. Feel has a lot to do with our suggestions and our purchases. For those that know me they will no doubt agree that I am the furtherest away from being a technical type of person. Lift, drag, foils all confuse the bejesus out of me. For me I want to know, does it feel fast/slow, does it feel heavy/light.

Very Yummy Fish Curry

We had this delicious recipe for dinner on Good Friday. Probably should have posted it back then but forgot all about it. Better late than never I guess. You can have this on rice, cauliflower rice or all on it's own. Have never tried it with a naan bread or roti but would imagine that it would go well with it also.

The SUP'ing Caveman's PFD Review

So for this month we have reviewed three vest style PFD's. Why have we done a PFD? For Canberra based paddlers this winter it is a requirement to wear a vest while competing in our winter club time trials. Last year it was deemed that a belt style PFD was acceptable but for this year we are now required to wear the vest version so I thought that was a good segue to do this just in time for our winter season. Unfortunately because SUP is still really only in it's infancy in Australia, there are only a few states that legally require you as a to physically wear a PFD when SUPing as a leisure activity.
